Hansaeng Cosmetics Rin Bi-gyeol Soo Essence & Cream

My skin gets along really well with hanbang skincare, so I knew I wouldn't have to worry when the Rin Bi-gyeol Soo Essence and Cream dropped on my desk.

Price: ₩ 46,000 for 50 ml
Made in: Korea

With flower extracts at its core – 10 in all - as well as fermented ginseng, niacinamide and adenosine, the Rin Bi-gyeol Soo Essence works to replenish and restore moisture to the deepest levels of the skin, leaving it dewy and radiant.

It is a watery liquid that packs a phenomenol punch in the moisture department. This serum is one for those who want visible results from the very first application. The morning after saw me with brighter and more supple skin. I was straightaway sold, of course.

The fact it comes 50 ml in a bottle makes this rather good value for money. A sentiment that seems rather silly when it costs ₩ 46,000, but worth saying anyways because a little goes a long way.

Rin Bi-gyeol Soo Cream

Price: ₩ 44,000 for 50 g

The Rin Bi-gyeol Soo Cream feels very light in comparison to the other anti ageing products but it is very effective and a joy to use to boot. The light blue colour has something to do with it I suppose, although the more sensible part of me wonders at the need of colourants to an otherwise excellent formula.

I find that this moisturiser really suits my combination skin: it has just the right amount of juiciness to give a face that practically bounces the morning after plus it is not too rich that I break out in hives.

Both the essence and the cream aren't shy on the floral front. It is almost like applying perfume to your face - worrisome really, because fermented products aren't supposed to smell so good artificial - but I needn't have, because these products more than made up for it efficacy-wise.

They are not widely available, though I can't even begin to fathom why. Now, how am I going to get my paws on more once I am done with them??

Hi Blair,

From the packaging, texture right down to the efficacy, both sounds really promising, and the list of ingredients do load up with lots of plant-based goodness, it seems. My only concern is the smell of them though. If you say smells like putting perfume on the face, I will have some reservations, ahaha *_^

Oh, for the Bobbi Brown Cushion, you were asking me about how it rates amongst the cushions that I have, right? yes, primer does help to keep it on the face slightly longer. I would rate this pretty high amongst the cushions that I have tried, though not a lot enough, I feel (the ones that I have tried are Innisfree, Dior, Lancome, Laneige and this one, Bobbi Brown) because it looks natural on my skin. I hope you get connected to BB the brand soon. All the best!

As for the new Dior EDT, the rose scent stands out to me more, compared to the orange *_^

Hope you are enjoying your weekend so far.

Love,
