Wrapping up my review on Clinelle (see part 1 reviewed here), I bring you the last three products, along with my final thoughts on the brand as a whole.
ღ Moisture Booster
Moisture Booster is a serum loaded with Sodium PCA, which is supposed to hydrate the skin. This serum also contains a plethora of botanical extract with soothing properties.
It feels like a gel and not watery like Hyaluronic Acid serums. A hydrating serum without Hyaluronic Acid as an ingredient is very novel to me.
This serum smoothes across the skin easily and absorbs instantly leaving no greasiness behind. It kept my skin in a nice hydrated condition. Having said that, it did not go the extra mile by improving suppleness or plumping fine lines.
I use two pumps on my face twice a day which lead to it depleting quickly. My bottle did not quite manage to last the full month.
The full ingredient list for Moisture Booster:
Aqua (Water), Cyclomethicone, Butylene Glycol, Cyclopentasiloxane, Sodium PCA, Glycerin, Ammonium Acrylolydimethyltaurate/VP Copolymer, Phenoxyethanol, C30-45 Alkyl Cetearyl Dimethicone Crosspolymer, Trehalose, PPG-26-Buteth-26, Allantoin, PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Methyparaben, Panthenol, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice Powder, Chlorphenesin, Glyceryl Acrylate/Acrylic Acid Copolymer, Tetrasodium EDTA, Tocopheryl Acetate, Mentha Piperita (Peppermint) Extract, Propylene Glycol, Citrus Medica Limonum (Lemon) Peel Oil, Lavandula Hybrida Oil, Butylparaben, Ethylparaben, Propylparaben, Isobutylparaben, Sodium Hydroxide, Ruscus Aculeatus Root Extract, Centellia Asiatica Extract, Panax Ginseng Root Extract, Calendula Officinalis Flower Extract, Hydrolyzed Yeast Protein, Aesculus Hippocastanum (Horse Chestnut) Seed Extract, Ammonium Glycyrrhizate, Camellia Sinesis (Green Tea) Leaf Extract, Sodium Citrate.
ღ Blemish Clear
Containing elements such as Isodecyl Salicylate and Zinc PCA, this gel helps control oil and calm inflammation.
It goes easily on the skin without smelling foul like some other blemish treatments. It does not dry out affected areas and as it claims, it is fantastic at mattifying my oil slick nose.
I will report back with a thorough review once I pit it against a pimple. Fingers crossed that I won't have to cross that bridge!
The full ingredient list for Blemish Clear:
Aqua (Water), Hydrogenated Polyisobutene, Hydrolyzed Yeast Protein, Oryza Sativa (Rice) Hull Powder, Isodecyl Salicylate, Ammonium Acryloyldimethyl Taurate/VP Copolymer, Phenoxyethanol, PPG-26-Buteth-26, PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Zinc PCA, Methylparaben, Glyecrin, Propylene Glycol, Tetrasodium EDTA, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract, Citrus Medica Limonum (Lemon) Peel Oil, Lavandula Hybrida Oil, Butylparaben, Ethylparaben, Allantoin, Pyridoxine HCI, Niacinamide, Panthenol, Propylparaben, Isobutylparaben, Citric Acid, Chlorphenesin, Biotin, Tromethamine, Potassium Sorbate, Disodium EDTA.
ღ Blemish Clear Mask
For a clay mask, Blemish Clear Mask is pretty mild. It does not dry out the skin nor make it feel tight. This mask made my skin feel clean and smooth and washed off easier than other clay masks but it still required a bit of work.
I did not notice any improvement to my skin after consistent usage; enlarged pores are as prominent as ever and comedones are still embedded deeply in my skin.
I use a generous amount every single usage and I usually apply this mask once or twice weekly so I can see myself draining the whole tube quickly.
The full ingredient list for Blemish Clear Mask:
Aqua (Water), Beeswax, Glycerin, Cetyl Alcohol, Nylon-12, Butylene Glycol, PPG-26-Buteth-26, Glyceryl Stearate, PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Illite, Kaolin, PEG-75 Stearate, Phenoxyethanol, Dicaprylyl Ether, Sclerotium Gum, Lauryl Alcohol, Ceteth-20, Steareth-20, Pentylene Glycol, Chlorphenesin, PEG-60 Almond Glycerides, Xanthan Gum, Caprylyl Glycol, Tocopherol, Bisabolol, Citric Acid, Methylparaben, Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange) Oil, Pelargonium Graveolens Oil, Tetrasodium EDTA, Ethylparaben, Rhodiola Rosea Root Extract, Carbomer, Nordihydroguaiaretic Acid, Oleanolic Acid, Sodium Metabisulfite.
Would I purchase other products from Clinelle? Certainly! They have some duds but the number of gems outweigh them. They also have released some interesting products for example the Advanced Night Repair duo and the Anti-Wrinkle & Firming Serum, which I am very interested in trying out. In addition, Clinelle skincare does not break my bank and they have safe formulations... what more can I ask for?

hmm it sounds good!
Ahhh, my face has been breaking out like crazy lately because of some stress, but hopefully it will clear up soon! These products look nice :D
Ah it's good that some of their products work at least. Skin products are so finicky, especially when trying to find the perfect combination of them.
the serum looks promising! but i hate that they come in small bottles, i always run out of serum the fastest hahaha they need to come in large Costco size bottles!
A hydrating serum without hyaluronic acid sounds so novel to me too hahaha. The moisture booster sounds great, I could sure use some of that on my cheeks right about now :)
The texture of these products looks great, I would be tempted to try out the serum and the Blemish Clear gel! Thank you for the reviews!
