3CE Eye Shadow Palette #Up Close

Park Sora is brandishing (and wearing!) a nice little number from 3CE: the Eye Shadow Palette in Up Close!

Price: ₩ 32,000
Made in: Korea

Up Close contains four shimmers, and they are all buttery soft and with incredible pigmentation. The shimmers translate beautifully to the eyes, but they are weak when photographed... or that could be due to my camera, haha! They blend easily and are a dream to work with.

Twinkle Pink

Indie Pink

Reddish Brown

Vintage Burgundy

The combination of colours makes the palette very versatile for day or evening use. The first shade is quite high on the glitter front, and will be great to brighten the inner corners. The last kicks up quite a bit of powder, so beware of fallouts!

These shadows stay put on my lids all day with the help of an eyelid primer underneath. Otherwise, they will fade off within hours because oily lids and humid surroundings are not a good combination.

It is definitely worth taking a peek at this if you are a neutral-eye lover; it is available online on en.stylenanda.com, priced at US$ 35.23, and offline in Sephora stores for RM 104. The Eye Shadow Palette comes in three other options: Bitter Sweet, Saddle and Sienna.

3CE 2015 Lip Color Palette Actress Pink

I have been scrutinising Kim Tae-hee's photographs and every time she steps into the limelight, she is in a satin lip. Maybe this is how Actress Pink came about?

The compact feels sleek, and perhaps it is something makeup artists would carry? It definitely looks more grown up than the other road shop brands out there – my only gripe is that the palette lacks an applicator; are we supposed to dip our fingers in or do we bring our own lip brush and risk losing it in the cavernous depths of our makeup pouches?

The range of shades in the palette are really appealing even if they may not suit all skin tones. If you are in the market for a selection of hot pinks, then this could be for you. Shades from left to right: Glass Hotpink, Fuchsia, Pink Jam and Bella.

✤ Glass Hotpink: pale baby pink
✤ Fuchsia: Hollywood cerise
✤ Pink Jam: Mexican pink
✤ Bella: carmine

Usually multi-purpose lip and cheek products are too fiddly to work as blushes so I was really relieved that 3CE found the right balance. On the lips, the satin finish maintains a delicate sheen and on the cheeks, it looks juicy. That said, I would highly recommend slicking on a balm underneath, just to bring up comfort levels!

Glass Hotpink does not show up on my lips, which is why I decided to be fair *coughs* and not show how the rest look like on. I mean, which would you prefer? My unprofessional, awkward lip swatches versus the ones provided by the brand... there is no contest, right? Haha!

The Lip Color Palette is US$ 36 on en.stylenanda.com and comes in two other options: Gossip Red and Pink Trophy.

3CE Long Wear Eye Crayon Baguette

Every brand under the sun has some kind of eye crayon on the market so you are justified when your first thought is that the 3CE Long Wear Eye Crayon is nothing special.

(Source: en.stylenanda.com/)

Price: ₩ 15,000 for 1.5 g
Made in: Korea

I get it because we have all seen it before! But there is something remarkable about this and it is all due to the crease-free formula. Well, it is not exactly crease-free because it creases in the inner corners but in its defence, everything creases once they come upon my oily lids.

Warm shades, such as this coppery orange, are really pretty. But if it were up to me, I would have picked out Adorable or Syrup. Baguette just doesn't suit my skin tone... the other shades in the range are really nice too, and while they aren't the most electric, they are wearable and that is what that matters most.

It is creamy, pigmented, and long lasting - the colour is just as vibrant as it first went on a couple of hours in. I am really impressed by it! It is definitely a step up (to put it lightly) from the mess that is the Elianto Long Wear Eyeshadow Stick.

Get it on en.stylenanda.com for US$ 17 or Sephora for RM 53!
