Elizabeth Arden Visible Whitening Melanin Control Night Capsules

I can never resist picking up new whitening products (please blame my obsession with Snow White skin for this fixation haha). As long as the blurb attracts my attention, I will give it a go.

Elizabeth Arden says:
This high performance night time serum in a capsule delivers potent natural hop extracts to intercept melanin synthesis at every phase, diminishing excess pigmentation and the appearance of uneven skin tone. Powerful botanicals, vitamin C derivative and environmental protectants fight the damaging effects of pollution and support skin's natural collagen elastin matrix, to give skin a smoother brighter look.

Name: Elizabeth Arden 엘리자베스아덴 Visible Whitening 비져블 화이트닝 Melanin Control 멜라닌 컨트롤 Night Capsules 나이트 캡슐
Price: ₩ 120,000 for 3.2 ml (×50)
Made in: Italy

It is an ingenious idea to pack the serum into capsules and the unique outlook makes it stand out. The reason the serum comes in capsule form is to preserve its integrity, thus dispensing with the need for preservatives.

A single dose capsule has the perfect amount for its intended area and this rules out waste. But speaking of waste, having to toss away the soft gelatin capsule after the serum is used is a contradiction to the no waste claim as it is a complete misuse of resources.

The jelly like serum sinks in quickly. It leaves my skin feeling remarkably soft and velvety.

I used it in replacement of my usual serum for a grand total of seven consecutive nights (because my sealed sample only had seven capsules). I did not notice an improvement in skin clarity nor did it wow me in other ways to justify the exorbitant price.

In its defence, seven capsules are not enough for me to pass judgement on its efficacy. Nonetheless I would still give it a miss if I come across it; I have used cheaper serums that showed its worth within the same time period.

ah, it's a shame! but as you said, seeing anything positive from a brightening(or whitening) regiment is rare. i'm currently using the kose sekkisei line which seems to brighten and even out, but it is no miracle-performer. ;-/

This sounds very interesting, but it's a shame that you didn't see any improvement.

personally, I've kind of given up on skin whitening products, but I'm always on the lookout for something that brightens your face, giving a glow..This seems like a good choice, sadly its really pricey..

Brightened cream are such a great invention. I love them and I think that a healthy and bright skin is the best...in italy some years ago everybody was crazy for tanned skin, but now we've changed.

Sounds like a great product it's too bad you couldn't try it for a longer period of time to see if it makes a difference!

So bad that this product doesn´t work I prefer the sheet mask for whitening and suplements with Vitamin C are more better that this kind of products it´s bad because this brand is really expensive.

I wish being pale was popular where I live because I'm fair as hell... Sadly, everyone is obsessed with tanning beds here and I'm too scared of skin cancer to do that lol. ^_^ GIG

Ohh I'm with you!!! ,<3 I'm also obsessed with whitening skincare products :D I love when the skin is fair and smooth. 7 days without any difference? :/ but yea as you said you should give it more time but there are products that shows efficacy in just 3 days right? i hope they will improve their formula on this.

Hmmm pity it didn't have more visible results. I do love capsule packaging though, there's something so nostalgic about it. And of course, it doesn't get much more hygienic than this!
