L'Oreal Renewal Lash Serum

I was already impressed before I even started using Renewal Lash Serum. It is a product that won several @cosme awards. High praise indeed coming from finicky Japanese consumers!

Name: L'Oréal Paris ロレアル パリ Renewal Lash Serum ラッシュ セラム
Price: RM 49.90 for 7.5 ml
@cosme rating: 4.6
Made in: China

As you well know, it has been a couple of months since I last reviewed a lash enhancing product. It is so hard to get back into the swing of things! I had to place the Renewal Lash Serum on my nightstand so it will be the first thing I would see when I open my eyes.

This is what L'Oréal says about the product:
L’Oréal's Renewal Lash Serum for visibily more lashes in just 4 weeks! Enriched with Arginine and Centella for a nourishing lash boost. Lashes feel fortified, look renewed. Clinically Tested.

A tube has a generous amount of product inside - 7.5 ml.

Curvy soft-touch applicator.

Application is done in the morning before mascara, and at night, when your skin is clean and you are getting ready for bed. I realised that the serum leaves a white crust on my lashes when it dries and thus have stopped using in the morning ever since.

My lashes became a little fuller compared with the first usage, a little over 5 weeks ago. I would include before and after pictures but I was a bit absent minded, so here is the one and only picture taken after 2 weeks of everyday use.

One other benefit? Eyelashes on my cheeks or floating around in my eyes are no longer a commonplace occurrence. They are much healthier now.

Everything you said about using this product is true! It worked well for me except that by around the 6th - 7th week, I got busy and lazy and would forget to apply this. It's now been a couple of months since I stopped using it and I've gotten a new one but have been forgetting to apply it regularly. In the mornings, I would apply it very lightly just to my lashes and not on the lash line. I didn't get any crusting doing this.

Thank you for doing this review! I love reading how it's worked for others.

I've been thinking of trying this out! I just want something to condition my lashes, not necessarily make them crazy long (although I would like that too haha). I'm just scared to try this b/c I've had a really bad allergic reaction to every lash serum I've tried before, the more concentrated it is the worse my reaction. So I'll probably stay away from this, but you do make it sound so tempting haha :(

It sounds great - would you recommend buying this product? I've used a couple of eyelash enhancers before but didn't notice a difference...

i've read glowing reviews on this on the blogosphere and now there's one from you too! I hope they'll sell this here :3 :3 all the eye makeup playing had led to sparse lashes on my eyes :(

Hey Suki!

Yes and no. Yes if you want stronger lashes, and no if you want long, lush lashes.
