I like ALL things colourful, so it is no surprise that I have taken to Kinohimitsu's Superfood Supreme like a duck to water. This nutritional beverage packs a varied spectrum of functional foods with proven health benefits (listed below) in a single scoop.
I mentioned what it contains, but Superfood Supreme is notable for what it lacks: dairy, lactose, cholesterol, soy, trans fat, artificial colouring and artificial flavouring. So, rest assured if you either have an allergy or an intolerance to any of these ingredients.
The robust formula is perfectly adequate taste-wise but nothing to write home about. I think it borders on the sweet side... it should be noted that I am drinking it boiling hot, against their recommendation of mixing in cold or lukewarm water.
It is also a great way to add a healthy boost to smoothies, juices and shakes - make your blender your best friend! For those unable to meet your daily nutrient requirements, this fortified beverage could be an option; needless to say, proper meals should always be your first choice.
How does it stack up in terms of nutritional value (per 25 g)?

I’m a huge fans of healthy drinks like this (I'm old now >.<), would definitely give this a try!
ReplyDelete*high five* Me too! I can't stop myself from guzzling these drinks down. I started last year and I'm onto my fourth tin. Have you seen any benefits yet?
ReplyDeleteI'm having a better bowel movement now! Other than this I have not seen any significant and immediate benefits but I do believe that these drinks will benefit me in the long run. I don't take 3-in-1 instant drinks anymore and I replace them with nutritional drinks, guess it help to cut down my sugar intake!
ReplyDeleteThat is excellent news! Now I have to be more diligent, don't I? Haha
