There are new Skin79 CC creams doing the rounds, and I needed in on the action given that I was a fan of their BB creams, in particular Diamond Prestige BB Cream.
Equipped with Eco-Hub (Rosemary Leaf Water, Chamomile Flower Water, Horse Chestnut Extract) and Amino Soothing Complexes (Glutamine, Leucine, Serine) alongside a blend of nutritious ingredients (Hydrolyzed Collagen, Centella Asiatica Extract, Ceramide 3), this CC cream promises to moisturise, strengthen the skin's defenses and enhance the complexion with micro-pigment capsules that transform to match your skintone.
Complete CC Cream Correct offers the benefits of skincare and the perfecting properties of makeup in a creamy, easy to spread formula. Despite providing minimal coverage, it manages to minimise redness, ease sallowness and unify skintone. You can go over problem areas and layer as needed with a concealer.
The formula bounces off light to give cheekbones a healthy glow. As flattering as it may be, you might want to follow up with a light dusting of powder to extend its longevity because a few hours down the road, all that shine will inevitably turn into grease. If you have dry skin, feel free to ignore this little piece of advice.
I have used a brush and a sponge to apply this CC cream but I prefer using my dainty little digits. It is less time consuming even though I have to worry about streaks and such due to sloppy blending. Haha!
The only drawback with this CC cream is the shade. While it works for me (as long as I am liberal with a corrector powder afterwards because of my strong yellow undertone), anyone with a deeper skintone may have issues with it. There is always its sister to turn to because unlike Correct, Control does not impart coverage, which automatically widens its reach.
If you need something uncomplicated to use on a daily basis or on lazy weekends, this could be it. To buy, visit skin79.com.my.

Not heard of Skin 79 but i can see from your shots, it really does make the skin glowing. You have really fresh clear skin! Maybe it would be great for a night out if it turns to grease after a few hours though. I like the way you've listed all the ingredients, not many reviews I read do that.
ReplyDeleteWow! Skin79 now has CC cream ah! The packaging looks the same with EH CC Cream. i love how it brighten your skin. And true, this one is perfect for everyday wear, most esp if we feel a bit lazy to put on heavy makeup :D
ReplyDeleteThanks for the review. I'm finding the CC creams are working out better as a makeup base for me to use under foundation than to use it as actual foundation, except for Clinique. Most don't provide enough coverage and are not the right color for me.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comment on my blog and to answer your question, I didn't find that the cleanser did anything fantastic for me. I just really liked it because it hydrated my face and didn't make it feel all tight after washing.
The swatch looks lovely on your skin, and can I just say you have beautiful skin! I am so jealous <3
ReplyDeleteOk I have to say, not a fan of the "CC cream" name because now I feel like companies are going to go through every letter of the alphabet -__- BUT I do really love the radiant finish of this one. And it makes your skin look amazing!
ReplyDeletethis looks like a great product, haven't jumped on the cc bandwagon yet but ure making me want to !
ReplyDeleteI have not join the CC cream parade yet haha (I'm a strong BB cream believer LOL). But Skin 79 CC cream does the work in correcting the tone.
ReplyDeleteSkin79 is kind of forgotten these days. I remembered how everyone is hyping about their BB cream all the time include me..lol
ReplyDeleteThe CC cream looks awesome! It makes your skin glows :)
I've been a little obsessed with CC creams lately and this looks really nice! I have an oily t-zone but the rest of my face is dry so I don't mind if this makes me look shiny. I love the dewy look after all!
ReplyDeleteOoo this sounds nice, but I think I'd want something more mattifying. Is Control very shiny too?
ReplyDeleteHey J! I believe that Control is more matte in nature (according to the reports from bloggers who have tried it).
ReplyDeletewow! this looks really good on your skin! I won't say the control is shiny! to me, it's kind of glowing :))
ReplyDeleteWaah skin79! i am yet to try their bb creams but I would love to sample some. This cc cream sounds wonderful too!
ReplyDeletewow, the before and after pictures show such a difference! its quite pricey though isnt it?
ReplyDeleteOh wow, finally Skin79 has its own CC cream! This is amazing. I'm a fan of their Hot Pink BB so it's good to see them on the CC wagon. Love the result on you, very dewy.
ReplyDeleteDonah giglove
I didn't even know that skin79 has CC creams as well. Their BB creams are a big no for cause of the grey undertone. But this is looking a nice one :-D
