First Cosmetics Mulbit Vitamin Sparkling Mist Part II

As mentioned in my first impressions post, the Mulbit Vitamin Sparkling Mist has four different coloured tablets where they all have their own functions:

Anti-ageing
Regenerating
Brightening
Strengthening skin barrier

Name: First Cosmetics 퍼스트코스메틱 Mulbit Vitamin Sparkling Mist 물빛미 비타민 탄산미스트
Price: ₩ 49,000 for 81 g (0.9 g ×90)
Made in: Korea

I have moved on from blue to green (an obvious choice, since Greenery is the Pantone colour of the year and all, heh!), and I don't think they differ from each other that much (or at all). My skin doesn't feel much more regenerated nor does it feel younger. It just feels calm, replenished and hydrated.

I try to finish a newly concocted batch within 4 days since the shelf life of the product is non-existent rather short due to the lack of preservatives. Despite not having preservatives, it is equipped with fragrance, and while some reviewers likened the smell to an old lady's perfume, others find it tolerable (including myself, haha).

Before - After

A word of caution before I sign off: do follow the instructions to the letter, otherwise, your mist mechanism will die on you, like what it did on me. So, it is rather fortunate that BNTNews sent another box in, saving me the effort to source for a new spray bottle.

SK-II's Valentine's Day Party

SK-II got an early start on Valentine's Day with a party at Mid Valley Megamall's Centre Court! The February 8th event was graced by three well-known Malaysian celebrities: Nicholas Teo, Bella Dally and Nazim Othman.

Teo, who made it big in Taiwan, crooned his way into the hearts of his fans and those present with a song titled 'Because of You'.

Newlyweds Dally and Othman shared the results to their SK-II Magic Ring skin consultation which revealed their skin age and they also elaborated on their skincare tips and date night preparation.

No matter what your relationship status is, I hope you all had a wonderful Valentine filled with love. Thank you for having me, SK-II!

Meishoku Organic Rose Skin Conditioner

Name: Meishoku 明色化粧品 Organic Rose Skin Conditioner 明色スキンコンディショナー
Price: ¥ 950 for 200 ml
@cosme rating: 4.8
Release date: 22.8.2011
Made in: Japan

While I was picking up Meishoku's Organic Rose Moisture Soda Mist, I saw Skin Conditioner right beside it. It was too pretty to be left alone, so of course I had to toss it into my trolley. Yeah trolley, because 美華泰 is awesome!

Like Naturie's Skin Conditioner, I mostly use Meishoku's version whenever I am in need of some pampering in the form of a lotion mask. I whack on a couple of cotton pads soaked in this precious liquid and let them sit on my face for 10 minutes.

As a pre-lotion, Skin Conditioner goes on after my acid treatment and before my treatment toner of choice (oftentimes the SK-II Facial Treatment Essence). Hmmm, remind me to show you guys my evening skincare routine one of these days. It has gotten unnecessarily complicated. Haha!

The liquid has the appearance of plain water, albeit slightly more silky, packaged in an adorable pink chubby bottle.

It has astringent properties, which helps to suppress shine, thus improving skin condition. Apparently it restores skin to its original (or close to it) mildly acidic condition. I don't know how true this is... firstly, I am a skeptic (the chart on Meishoku's page raises more questions than it resolves them) and secondly, I don't have pH strips on hand for verification purposes.

It works just as well as the Naturie version but it is not as attractive price wise (nor is it available here), which makes this purchase hard to justify. As mentioned above, I bought my bottle from 美華泰 for NT$ 356 (discounted from NT$ 395).

Do you have a favourite Skin Conditioner that you would like to share it with me?

The full ingredient list for Organic Rose Skin Conditioner:
