My Beauty Diary Sweet Teatime goodies. This range is slowly expanding; I first saw the mini sets a month ago and now the other items are brought in.

The mirrored case is elegant, fun to look at and it is something that you won't be shy to whip out in public.

It comes with two good quality applicators. The bristles are soft and they don't shed. Even though the brush is a tad too small, it is perfectly serviceable. I didn't have any problems using it to apply my blush.

The print in the background is from Paul & Joe's summer 2009 collection!

The embossed eyeshadows and blush are in line with the Paul & Joe Art Deco aesthetic. It was hugely influenced by the antique iron gates and doors of some of New York City’s most famous architectures.

The rich and refined colors in 001 are inspired by the glamorous and extravagant Fifth Avenue. It has four shimmery shadows, ivory, yellow-gold, rose taupe and a rich dark chocolate shade paired with a dusty red blush.

I found the lighter eyeshadow shades to be a little rough to the touch – not nearly as smooth as the other two. A little gripe about the darkest shade is it has quite a bit of fallout. All of them are finely milled though, and go on smoothly with good payoff except for the ivory - it is really just flecks colourful glitter.

The lasting power is excellent. The colours didn't fade and there was only a slight creasing at the inner corners after a long day out, thanks to the eyelid primer that I prep with beforehand.

The blush gives the cheeks a healthy flush.

PS: You get more product with Paul & Joe Beauté than some other brands in the same price range. I'm not going to name names (tempting as it may be haha), but these brands will be familiar to you if you read my blog often.

It's skin, Clinical Skin Solution

Whilst walking around Sungei Wang Plaza aimlessly, I came across the first It’s skin (잇츠스킨) outlet in Malaysia! They will set up a second shop at Times Square soon, so do drop by if you're in the vicinity~

It’s skin is fronted by the popular Korean boy band 2PM. They have released a slew of chart topping singles including Again and Again, Hearbeat and I'll Be Back. 2PM is not my favourite Korean group but it comes close to the top haha!

I was astonished to receive a nice amount of samples and a mask with my purchase. Other Korean beauty brands over here are never so generous.

I did note the prices, and It's skin Malaysia could have matched the prices to retail in Korea. Savy shoppers can always fall back to the trusty Gmarket, but I think once shipping is factored in, the prices would almost be comparable.

Nevertheless, It's skin does have a manifold range of skincare products that are worth checking out, with their top sellers being the Prestige crème d'escargot and Power 10 Formula VC Effector.
