[Apple Of Your Eyes] Vassen Candy Crystal 3 Tones Grey

Apple Of Your Eyes is a Malaysian shop selling ready stock circle lenses. They ship internationally and only accept payments via PayPal. They have a huge range of lenses including I.Fairy and also Geo Medical's newest releases.

Name: Vassen Candy Crystal 3 Tones Grey or Vivian 3 Tones Grey
Price: US$ 20 for 1 pair
Base curve: 8.6 mm
Diameter: 14.5 mm
Water content: 38%
Prescription: 0.00 to -8.00
Life span: 1 year disposal

Design and colour ★★★★★★★
Am in love with the design, it's so unique yet simple. The three colours blend seamlessly with each other and there are no rings of colour which is the norm with other designs.

So vivid and bright once on. Blue is a little more striking though, but I had to choose grey, it is one of my favourite colours for lenses. This series also comes in brown, violet and green.

Enlargement ★★★★★☆☆
From my previous reviews, you can tell that I really like enlarging lenses even though I don't have much sclera space to work with.

Comfort ★★★★★★☆
Most lenses that I have tried need some time to align properly but this doesn't and that really impressed me. They are thin and feel really good on.. Vassen really lives up to its reputation!

Miss Q Magic Lip Gloss

There isn't much talk about products from Ivy Maison in the English blogosphere, so hopefully my review will help some of you out there!

Name: Miss Q Magic Lip Gloss (Miss Q 光澤娃娃魔法溫感變色唇凍)
Price: US$ 5.50 for 10 ml

There are a few mood lip glosses around, they supposedly work by using your body chemistry to create customized hues. I've tried Smashbox's version - O-Gloss - and it turned my lips an unflattering neon pink shade. I wasn't pleased with it at all!

Miss Q's Magic Lip Gloss isn't sticky, it goes on clear. After a while it deepens my lip colour a tad but it doesn't turn my pigmented lips a nice pink or anything, which I'm gutted about haha~ It smells like cookies and cream and it doesn't have a taste.

Turns a pretty light pink after a few minutes (right).

On me, it works like a lightly tinted lip essence since it protects and nourishes my lips. It's going for NT$ 299 (US$ 10.10) in Taiwan and it only costs US$ 5.50 on loveshoppingholics.com. That's 46% savings!

If you give it a try, please let me know how it looks on you.

Summer is here! Who doesn’t want to be outside enjoying the sun? Make sure you slather enough sunscreen to avoid overexposure to the sun. You wouldn't want wrinkles, sunburn, age spots or skin cancer..

Some sunscreens to keep an eye out for~

Colourful Explosion

Unwrapping the Manly 56 Makeup Palette from its cocoon was an experience in itself, I've never seen so much bubble wrap!

There were no hints on the nature of the shadows from the name nor was it described on kkcenterhk.com, so I was extremely relived when I noted that it wasn't dominated by matte shadows. They can be so hard to work with plus I am used to shimmery shadows.

Name: Manly 56 Color Double Stack Eyeshadow Make Up Palette
Price: US$ 23.40

This palette has a dimension of 23.5 x 15.8 x 2.5 cm. The shadows are separated into two tiers, and they can be stacked up. Each colour is the size of a MAC eyeshadow single (diameter of approximately 2.6 cm) and the amount given is also similar, 1.5 g. It's extremely generous, I doubt that I'll see pan!

Even though it was packed so securely, one colour managed to shatter (I've already pressed it; second tier, second row, last column). What horrors do my packages encounter during shipping?! (- ω -) Pigmentation wise, some shadows have more colour payoff and are brighter than the others - the black colours in both tiers have lesser colour payoff.

Third row.

Fourth row.

Fourth row.

They blend really well, some of them are incredibly soft which is why they tend to shatter easily, are smooth to the touch and non chalky. My first impression was the colours given were all different but upon closer inspection, some of them swatch fairly similar. A good example would be the greens in the first and second rows in the first tier.

It's a great palette to have in hand if you're just starting out or if you want to experiment with colours without spending a pretty penny. I'm liking it so much that I've been using it daily for the past two weeks!

My EOTD with it.

PRODUCTS USED

EYES
♥ Manly 56 makeup palette
♥ Kate Super Sharp Liner BK-1
♥ Eye's Chic 830 upper lashes
♥ Ballerina VM426 lower lashes

I'm wearing my new found favourite lower lashes, Ballerina VM426 in the EOTD above. They are really bendy (I didn't even need to massage them beforehand!), comfortable to wear, weightless and the clear lashbone is an added bonus.

Name: Ballerina VM426 Lower Lashes
Price: US$ 13.20 for 10 pairs

You may recall from my previous review that I really like Eye's Chic 860 lower lashes, but they can look a tad spidery at times. Ballerina VM426 gives me some extra drama and it looks really natural at the same time. People who don't know better will think that I'm naturally blessed with lush lower lashes haha~

Hope you enjoyed reading my review and have a great Saturday!
