Jelly Pong Pong Review: Flower Cream, Muffin & Meringue Gloss Set

Jelly Pong Pong is one of the cutest western brand ever! Have you checked out their packaging? They get my inner little girl squealing in joy

This brand appeared on my radar a few years back (way before I started blogging), when Nicola Roberts of Girls Aloud fame did a collaboration and released the Dainty Doll range. I purchased a mousse foundation from that collection which I finished and I wish that it is still sold.

Back to the present, I'm so excited to revisit this brand with (fairly) new releases!

Flower Cream

Name: Jelly Pong Pong Flower Cream
Price: £ 10 for 3 ml

I love anything multi-use and cream blushes are definitely that and more!

Flower Cream is a beautiful matte apple red shade, it'll look wonderful on ladies of all colours. It's a cream-to-powder blush that quickly dries to a gorgeous finish with a bit of sheen to it. It blends like a dream and is easy to work with. You have to be careful not to overdo it as it's extremely pigmented, so a little dab goes a long way.

It’s great on its own or as a base before powder blushes. I adore the dewy pretty red flush that it gives me, so I usually use it on its own and it stays put all day long.

My go-to blush and lip combo at the moment! It's a little too early to tell but it just might take the top spot on my 2011 favourite blush list.

Muffin & Meringue Gloss Set

Name: Jelly Pong Pong Muffin & Meringue Gloss Set
Price: £ 18 for 44 ml (22 ml per tube)

Comes in a stripey giftbox.

Muffin and Cherry Meringue are packaged in fat stubby toothpaste tubes. The opening is also like a toothpaste's so for those of you who are concerned about hygiene, you might want to use a lip brush or clean fingers to apply them. Since these uber adorable glosses are mine and I'm not sharing (ahaha!) I dab them straight from the tube to my lips (* ω *)

Muffin is a baby pink with specks of shimmer. It has a soft sweet scent.

I know my lip swatch looks horrid, but it's a nice nude!

Cherry Meringue is a raspberry red shade. I detect an artificial cherry scent from it.

Juicy berry pout~

Both glosses have medium pigmentation, nice high shine effect, not too sticky consistency and they feel comfortable on.

I thoroughly enjoyed using these items and I have one last product from Jelly Pong Pong to review, which is coming up soon. Stay tuned and in the meantime, please visit jellypongpong.com for more cuteness! They ship internationally and you'll receive a full sized free gift with every order

Up close pictures and a review on these lashes.

Eye's Chic lashes are lightweight and very comfortable on The lashband is very springy and flexible (even more so than DJ 采粧 07 and 12 reviewed previously) and they don't shed after a couple of uses (*coughs* Model 21 *coughs*).

Spiky lashes, it'll look good layered or on its own.

Name: Eye's Chic 830 lashes
Price: US$ 13.45 for 10 pairs

It's a shame that the spacings between the strands of lashes are super close or else 860 will be perfect.

Name: Eye's Chic 860 lower lashes (clear lashband)
Price: US$ 13.45 for 10 pairs

I'd recommended you guys to take a look at Eye's Chic lashes especially 830. They are really really nice. Thank you kkcenterhk.com for sending these lashes to me!

Wanted to do a flying kiss wink pose but I looked nowhere near as cute as the Japanese models when they do it, so here's another smile look at me wearing Retrofuturist.

Like my five minute curls?

Shiseido White Lucent Intensive Spot Targeting Serum

Just when I though that I stopped getting breakouts, I started breaking out again (- ω -) It is most probably my food intake, been eating lots of unhealthy food lately. Back to the topic, it's nothing crazy but still VERY annoying since these scars take sometime to fade.

One product that caught my eye was the Intensive Spot Targeting Serum by Shiseido's White Lucent line. The name itself sounded very promising!

Name: Shiseido 資生堂 White Lucent ホワイトルーセント Intensive Spot Targeting Serum インテンシブ スポットターゲティング セラム
Price: RM 410 for 30 ml
@cosme rating: 4.6
Release date: 1.2.2010

The RM 410 (≈ US$ 137) price tag is rather hefty but I would pay this amount and more for something that delivers, and this product does that.

It has all these marvelous ingredients, m-Tranexamic Acid, 4MSK, Vitamin C and Yomogi Extract to eliminate pesky spots and brighten your skin. At the moment, I'm not in the position to tell if it brightens my skin as I have only used it for one week all over my face before switching to using it on only my problem areas. I will definitely use it all over again I'm done diminishing dark spots in hopes of becoming Snow White *dreams*

It also promises to work on visible spots by a short two weeks. An assortment of old and new scars. Red for new and brown for old haha!

My after shots are after four weeks.

I noticed decent results on new scars after a few days. But I opted to test it out for a longer period before writing my review. The last thing I want is for my face to stop responding to the serum after two weeks and thus misleading you guys.

It's obvious from the pictures that it's excellent at obliterating newer scars, however it doesn't work as well on the old ones.. I do notice that they are slightly lighter though, which is fairly impressive when compared to other whitening serums; they don't show any results at all on these spots.

Aesthetically pleasing and hygienic pump bottle packaging.

It has a weightless texture and smells strongly of alcohol. I adore how fluid this serum is and the way it feels on my skin, it gets rapidly absorbed and feels mildly hydrating.

All in all, I would recommend the Shiseido White Lucent Intensive Spot Targeting Serum if you need something that effectively lightens your spots. It is sold at Shiseido counters worldwide.

The full ingredient list for Intensive Spot Targeting Serum:
Water, SD-Alcohol 40B, Glycerin, PEG-15, Tranexamic Acid, Cetyl Ehthylhexanoate, PEG/PPG-14/7 Dimethyl Ether, Potassium Methoxysalicylate, Dimethicone, Isostearic Acid, Phenoxyethanol, Carbomer, Lauryl Betaine, Potassium Hydroxide, Xanthan Gum, Butylene Glycol, Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, 2-0-Ethyl Ascorbic Acid, Fragrance, Disodium EDTA, Tocopheryl Acetate, Glucosyl Hesperidin, Polyquaternium-51, Sodium Metabisulfite, Limonene, Sodium Hyaluronate, Benzyl Benzoate, Serine, Artemisia Princeps Leaf Extract, Sodium Benzoate.

O'slee Rosehip Hydra-White Cleansing Powder

From the blurb on the box, Rosehip Hydra-White Cleansing Powder is supposed to refine your pores, remove blackheads and whiten your skin.

Name: O'slee Rosehip Hydra-White Cleansing Powder 保濕美白潔面粉
Price: RM 49.90 for 55 g
Made in: Hong Kong

This gentle cleanser cleanses really well and leaves my skin moisturized and soft. It has a fragrance that is prevalent in the Rosehip range - a light rosy scent.

Even though it promises to brighten, I didn't notice any brightening effects.. it may be too soon to tell though, since I've only used it for 3 weeks or so. However, I did notice a slight reduction in the number of blackheads on my nose, so one of the claims really came through!

It is packaged in a sturdy plastic bottle, lightweight and perfect for travelling. I can use it alone without facial nets as it foams wonderfully. It will last me quite a while, only a little bit is needed each time plus I only use it in the mornings.

You can get Rosehip Hydra-White Cleansing Powder online at oslee.com.my or in selected Guardian Pharmacies nationwide.

The full ingredient list for Hydra-White Cleansing Powder:
Sodium Methyl Cocoyl Taurate, Sodium Lauroyl Sarcosinate, Sorbitol, Carica Papaya (Papaya) Fruit Extract, Fragrance, Aqua, Zea Mays (Corn) Starch.

Diameter: 15 mm
Water content: 38%

Colour ★★★★★☆☆
Finally, my first ever pair of three tone lenses! Apple Green has a spiky dark limbal outer ring, an apple green speckled base colour and a yellow inner rim.

It's not very opaque, the apple green darkens to an intense clover green once in my eyes. They give my eyes some depth, which was missing in the EOS G-202 lenses, so I'm pretty happy about it hahaha~

Enlargement ★★★★★★☆
I'm extremely pleased with the size. It makes a difference when I have them on (^ ω ^) And nope, I didn't face any difficulties popping them in.

Comfort ★★★★★★☆
Hands down, the most comfortable pair of lenses that I've tried. Seriously, I don't even feel like I'm wearing anything. I thought that I would feel some discomfort due to the size, but not at all.

In my trial run, I wore my EOS lenses in one eye and Apple Green on the other and I could really feel a difference in comfort levels. Thumbs up for Geo lenses!!! I have revised the comfort ratings in my previous lenses reviews in order to reflect my new findings (^ ω ^)
