Summer SPF

Summer is here! Who doesn’t want to be outside enjoying the sun? Make sure you slather enough sunscreen to avoid overexposure to the sun. You wouldn't want wrinkles, sunburn, age spots or skin cancer..

Some sunscreens to keep an eye out for~

Nivea Sun Protect Water Gel SPF30 PA++. 80 g.

(Source: nivea.co.jp/)

Bioré UV Aqua Rich Watery Essence SPF50 PA+++. 50 g.

(Source: kao.com/jp/bioresarasarauv/)

Allie Extra UV Gel (Mineral Moist) SPF50 PA+++. ¥ 1470 for 25 g.

(Source: kanebo-cosmetics.jp/allie/)

Sun Style UV Cut Spray SPF50 PA+++. ¥ 1260 for 60 g.

(Source: issua.jp/sunstyle/)

Lancôme UV Expert GN-Shield SPF50 PA+++. ¥ 5460 for 30 ml.

(Source: lancome.jp/)

Suisai Whitening UV Essence SPF50 PA+++. ¥ 3150 for 60 ml.

(Source: kanebo-cosmetics.jp/suisai/)

Clarins UV Plus HP Multi-Protection Day Screen SPF40 PA+++. ¥ 5250 for 30 ml.

(Source: jp.clarins.com/)

Homeo Beau UV Veil SPF35 PA+++. ¥ 4410 for 40 g.

And remember that sunscreen wears off. Reapply every few hours! Curious about which one I purchased? Sadly, I couldn't get Nivea Sun Protect Water Gel or Bioré UV Aqua Rich Watery Essence and had to settle for this instead~

It is on 15% discount and I got a free travel set with my purchase!

GWPs are good! Yes, sunscreen is very important. Another thing that I had learned is that for it to be effective, it has to be on your skin 15 minutes before going out into the sun. If you are already sitting on the beach and slathering on your sunscreen, it is too late. I always try to put sunscreen on my face and neck as part of my morning makeup routine but I also put it on my arms and legs at the same time.

BTW, for the Puff de Cheek blush, I use a brush to apply it. Somehow, I never use the included applicators for applying makeup as I prefer my own collection of brushes. Besides, that puff is too darned cute to use!

Thanks for the sunscreen reminder, I need a powder spy to re-apply later in the day but haven't found one yet.

The Sun Style UV Cut Spray looks interesting, I'm mostly attracted to the colors but I heat the Bioré UV Aqua Rich line is very good.

That's great advice!  But right now it's too, too hot here.  I don't melt in the rain, but I do @ 100F.

Great suggestions! And for reminding us the importance of sunscreen. I always remember to wear it, but forget to reapply every few hours -especially if I'm directly under the blazing sun.

Even when it's cloudy, the UV rays will get to your skin, so you need sun protection.

Btw, I find PA++ not enough for summer time. And Bioré sunscreens break me out. :( Am using Mentholatum and Shiseido at the moment. ^^
