Vitacreme B12

Finished my tube of the much raved Vitacreme B12! It is time for a review (^ ω ^)

Name: Vitacreme B12 ビタクリームB12
Price: US$ 36 for 50 ml
@cosme rating: 4.2

Description: Vitacreme B12 is the first cosmetic cream containing Vitamin B12, an essential component for healthy skin. With deep penetrating capability, Vitacreme B12 helps regenerate, nourish and moisturize your skin. (Source: vitacremeb12-usa.com/)

Metal toothpaste tube.

At first I was not enamoured with the powdery floral scent scent, but I slowly got used to it and now I do not find it unpleasant anymore.

Pink cream.

It feels smooth and it is not too thick or too thin. In a hot and humid climate, it takes quite some time to absorb even when I massage it in using the technique shown in the diagram below while it sinks in right away in a cold and dry climate.

(Source: beautykat.com/)

I experienced slight breakouts when I first used it but my persistence won the day – I was very much influenced by the raves from fellow bloggers.

I did not notice any difference in the texture of my skin or even on my hyperpigmentation. The effect is certainly nothing spectacular or miraculous as reported by some other people. It acts as a decent night moisturiser as it is too rich for day use but nothing else.

I do think that this cream is too heavy for people with combination to oily skins in hot and humid countries. Conversely this cream was insufficient for me in a dry climate - I needed another moisturiser on top of this cream.

Hoarder me purchased two tubes, and I am going to have to give the second away since it does not do anything for me...

The full ingredient list for Vitacreme B12:

Thanks for this review!  The fact that it made you break out makes me worried, I have super oily skin so I don't think this would work for me...

Thanks for your honest review. My friend Grace swears by this and it sells for $44.00 at the shop she works at. Well its still worth a try. Thanks for offering up your extra tube.

not sure about the whitening yet as I just tried out yesterday but I bought the BB essence because it's more emulsion than cream and it's the same shade as their BB moist cream that I use. As for LE - the bottle itself is not but as a set with the mini bb mineral powder. sorry I didnt make that clear in the post!

I agree with you on this! It did nothing for me and it smells like the hair cream that my granny used to use.

I've read so many raves about this. I guess it really doesn't work for everyone. I've been tempted to buy this, hopefully it'll work well since the California has dry climate. And I had no idea it was pink!

Meh, it sucks that it didn't work for you : / I find that the more the hype, the less likely the product is to work for me. Mostly because your expectations build up to something crazy and then.. when the product doesn't deliver, you get all poo-faced and annoyed. >_<"

I'm sorry to hear it didn't work for you, but I always found the price tag absolutely ridiculous anyway! I always get the feeling that unless the ingredients clearly contain some really expensive things like caviar or gold flakes or something creams that are over $15 are just a scam!

oh its too bad you didn't like it that much - I am on my fourth tube. I agree though, it is rather heavy for humid weather, which I'm using a bit less now that it's getting hotter.
