The shadows in Velours D'or are suitably shimmery (except for the black; it is matte) and they come in royal hues of deep grey, gold, dark violet and black (clockwise from bottom left). The golden shade is embossed with Guerlain's signature bee print whereas the others have honeycomb patterns.

I had high hopes for this quad ever since I read that Guerlain is where the quality comes into play but it didn’t deliver. The pigmentation level is nothing to shout about, the shadows don’t feel super smooth or silky plus they look a tad dull and muddy.
This quad may be average in every way but thankfully it is very wearable.

The lashes that I'm wearing in my EOTD, DJ 采粧 07, bears a slight resemblance to the 728 style made popular by 孫芸芸 (Taiwanese socialite).

The varying lengths and the criss-cross patterns for this particular style gives a spiky look that isn't over the top at all. It isn't as flexible as DJ 采粧 12 lashes (full review here), but it is still nice to wear. You can purchase DJ 采粧 07 from kkcenterhk.com.

The falsies look very natural and nice on you =) I love all the design of Guerlain palette but so far still never try them before =(
Burberry stuff is a bit overpriced :P but they feel so 'solid' and 'real' in your hand coz of the metal casing XD i like their eyeshadow (not pigmented really), because they're a bit duochrome-like ;)
the colors in the palette look gorgeous! too bad it wasn't what you expected but it's still very pretty to look at :)
