Lime Crime Review: Magic Dust Eyeshadow Abracadabra, Candyfuture Opaque Lipstick Retrofuturist

More Lime Crime reviews! Items from Lime Crime are tucked in a dotted blue box and lime green paper to match Lime Crime's aesthetics. I cannot help but to feel joyful when I look at how the items are presented. Mad love!

Magic Dust Eyeshadow

Name: Lime Crime Magic Dust Eyeshadow Abracadabra
Price: US$ 14 for 2 g
Made in: USA

Abracadabra is a pink eyeshadow with subtle blue overtones. It is silky smooth, easy to use and blends like a dream. Only the tiniest amount is needed, it is fairly pigmented plus too much pink will make your eyes look swollen.

I swatched Abracadabra dry and then over Urban Decay Primer Potion, NYX Jumbo Eyeshadow Pencil 608 Cottage Cheese, Canmake Shimmer Jelly Eyes 02 Sugar Milk Tea and Tsuya Tsuya Gel Eyeliner Cedar Brown (from left to right).

Natural light

Even though it is not lacking pigmentation wise, I would still use Abracadabra over a base. They just make the colour more vibrant and they even bring out the blue undertones as shown in the swatches.

I would imagine Abracadabra working very well as a blush.. I will try it out and let you guys know what I think!

Candyfuture Opaque Lipstick

Name: Lime Crime Candyfuture Opaque Lipstick Retrofuturist
Price: US$ 16 for 3.5 g

Retrofuturist is a deep ruby red. It has a hint of blue and this helps to brighten my complexion as well as my pearly whites hahaha

I reviewed a few colours from this range back in July 2010.. my thoughts on the texture, pigmentation etc still stands so please hop over to this post if you are interested to have a look.

Lime Crime is adding three colours to the Candyfuture Opaque Lipstick range on March 15th - Mint To Be, Coquette and New Yolk City. Aren't they gorgeous?
