Volumised Hair

I’ve always wanted some volume at the crown of my head, as I have unflatteringly flat hair (or head ;D), so the Tsuya Tsuya Elevation Volume Hair Coord has definitely made my life much easier!

It grips your hair with the Velcro technology ala the fringe holder that everyone has.

I would imagine that those with super fine hair having trouble with it holding on. It slides down after a while on me, and I have fluffy (fluffy sounds better than coarse!) hair to begin with. That being said, I think it will work well if you pin or tie your hair in some way to anchor it properly.

How to use:

Love the volume! And it looks so natural too =D

This volumizing insert is sold in Tsuya Tsuya's roadshows. You can also order them via e-mail: tsuya2@singnet.com.sg

Etude House Haul

This a super backdated post! My Gmarket parcel arrived many moons ago haha XD

Name: Etude House Magic Rice Pack Peeling
Price: ₩ 11,000 for 100 g

This scrub is a new product from their Magic Peeling series. It isn’t sold in stores yet but I’ve seen it on eBay. Check out this post for a review.

Name: Etude House Proof 10 Eye Primer
Price: ₩ 5,500 for 10 g

I had to buy this as I heard that it's even BETTER than both UDPP and TFSI! But I won't be using it so soon, I plan on finishing UDPP first =D Speaking of UDPP, I'm lemming for their new one in Eden! Anyone used it yet?

Name: Etude House Cute & Sexy Eyes #5 Coffee Khaki
Price: ₩ 9,000 for 0.15 oz

I couldn't resist getting a neutral eyeshadow palette ;D You girlies know how much I love eyeshadow palettes :] I'm tempted to get its sister #6 Smokey after the SA at my local Etude House branch told me that it is REALLY popular!

Name: Etude House Hello Kitty Mini Gloss 01
Price: ₩ 6,500 for 4.5 g

Super adorable Hello Kitty lipgloss!

Name: Etude House Natural Sheet Mask Pomegranate, Pearl Extract, Lemon
Price: ₩ 1,000 for 20 g (each)

I’ve never tried their sheet masks even though I bought Lemon and Pomegranate previously. I plan on using Pearl Extract tonight! Hopefully, it resembles Pearl Powder from My Beauty Diary =D

Seller 에뛰드하우스★직영샵 did include GWPs but I forgot to photograph them *oops*

I also ordered a white bag along with my Etude House products. Well, a girl can never have too many bags ;D

It's so soft and feminine!

Inside~

It’s made from synthetic leather, and I like that it has compartments at the sides. Perfect for me to slide my cards and other nonsense in haha~

I adore the colour, design and everything else. It’s so pretty!

Cooking 101

I immediately consulted my guru in all things Japanese when I bought this:

It says otona no furikake (for adults) and it’s in hon katsuo flavour. Kay assured me that it’s yummier than the other brands, which made me very happy (I have good taste even when I have no idea what I’m buying lol) :D :D :D

Cooking instructions:
1. Sprinkle some on cooked rice.

Yup, only a single sentence ;D

Plain rice:

Plain rice with furikake:

Doesn’t it look so appetizing? I should buy Japanese bowls for picture purposes… the yummy factor will definitely go up by a hundred haha!

The only ‘real’ cooking I did was by whipping up a pot full of black sesame pudding for dessert~

Cooking instructions were also provided by dear Kay haha XD

Oishii? What are you having for dinner? ^^

YSL Matt Touch Compact Foundation SPF20 PA++

Matt Touch Compact Foundation is one of the top 10 powder foundations in 2009 according to the Reader’s Best Cosme Award 2009 in the February issue of Biteki magazine.

1. Exage Primal Chiffon SPF15 PA++
2. Maquillage Moisture Finish Powdery UV Foundation SPF20 PA++
3. Esprique Precious Dramatical Stay Pact UV EX SPF25 PA++
4. Helena Rubinstein Color Clone x3 Compact SPF24 PA++
5. Coffret D’or Beauty Essence Pact SPF23 PA++
6. Sonia Rykiel Water Gel Foundation SPF25 PA++
7. YSL Matt Touch Compact Foundation SPF20 PA++
8. SK-II Signature Cream-In Foundation SPF20 PA++
9. Chanel Mat Lumiere Extreme SPF20 PA+++

The only foundation that isn’t released in 2009 is the Beauty Essence Pact by Coffret D’or.

Name: Yves Saint Laurent Beauté イヴ・サンローラン・ボーテ Matt Touch Compact Foundation マット タッチ コンパクト ファンデーション SPF20 PA++ N° 2 Blond
Price: US$ 57 for 9 g
@cosme rating: 4.0
Release date: 6.3.2009

Experience new sensations with Matt Touch Compact Foundation! This extremely fine powdered compact foundation offers your complexion a sublimely radiant, matt and even finish throughout the day.

Matt Touch Compact Foundation's ultra soft and comfortable texture caresses the skin with the infinite softness of a powdery veil, leaving it naturally smooth and even.

Your complexion radiates with a flawless and long-lasting matteness thanks to the synergetic action of active ingredients with oil-regulating power and anti-shine powders. The texture of the skin is refined; it remains even and fresh for hours. (Source: yslbeautyus.com/)

Even though it’s a tad pink, N° 2 Blond suits my complexion quite well when I use a mauve primer underneath it.

The texture is super smooth and soft. It wears well and I look really natural and glowy in a radiant way after 12 hours. There’s a slight oily sheen on my nose and forehead after 4 hours but that’s alright since I can easily blot it. In addition, I love how it doesn’t cake around my marionette lines and it also conceals the pores on my cheeks.

I’d definitely recommend this foundation to someone who already has a somewhat flawless complexion mainly because it has a sheer but slightly buildable coverage which is insufficient for people who need heavy duty cover (like me). One weird thing about this foundation is it settles into the pores on my nose *urghh*

Hope this review helps ^^ Now, please raise your hand if you're intrigued by Exage's foundation ;D

My much anticipated purchase of the year has finally reached my house (some time last month but I only just got to posting it ;D) I know it’s only February but I don’t think other purchases can top this one... unless I get my paws on Sonia Rykiel or Suqqu haha ^^

The best part? I bought this coffret for way lesser than retail puahaha~
