Nestlé Kit Kats: Milk Coffee, Sakura Matcha, Semi Sweet, Framboise

This is the third entry in my never-ending quest for more Kit Kats!

Milk Coffee

Name: Nestlé Kit Kat Milk Coffee
Price: ¥ 126
Contents: 18 g ×2
Release date: 21.12.2009

The release of this Kit Kat was timed to correspond to the examination period in Japan. The iconic pink flower even has a message for the students – kitto sakura saku yo!

I drank my share of instant coffee a while back (no longer, I’m a water girl these days) and this tastes exactly like instant coffee mixed with milk~ The bitter coffee taste doesn’t kick at once, it took a while for the milk with coffee taste to turn into full blown coffee with milk taste. Umm, did it make sense? Haha!

Tan bars.. this colour reminds me of the Royal Milk Tea ones!

Sakura Maccha/ Cherry Blossom Green Tea

Name: Nestlé Kit Kat Sakura Maccha
Price: ¥ 126
Contents: 18 g ×2
Release date: 1.3.2010

Ample space at the back for you to deliver an encouraging message to someone

On the package, it says that this flavour contains 0.5% sakura leaf extract and uses real Uji maccha. Sakura Maccha is a limited seasonal release.

The rich flavor of green tea combined with cherry blossoms makes this Kit Kat smell so soft and fragrant. Sadly, it tasted weird, I couldn’t pinpoint the taste at all o.O It definitely was not green tea or even sakura → okay, I have never tasted anything sakura so it might be sakura afterall ;D

I feel slightly disappointed because I expected so much more from it. I’m probably influenced by the beautiful packaging and the fact that I adore anything maccha *pouts*

Unique green fingers!

Semi Sweet

Name: Nestlé Kit Kat Semi Sweet
Price: ¥ 105
Contents: 18 g ×2
Release date: 15.3.2010

Semi Sweet has the perfect dark chocolate balance as it isn’t too sweet nor too bitter. It tastes and smell exactly like how I like my dark chocolate to be. Delicious!

It is a little dryer than the other Kit Kats and the proof is in the pictures below. You can see that it is solid and it didn’t melt from the heat at all compared to the other flavours.

Yum, I love my dark chocolate!

Framboise/ Raspberry

Name: Nestlé Kit Kat Framboise
Price: ¥ 126
Contents: 18 g ×2
Release date: 12.4.2010

Framboise has the mouth-watering aroma of a cake shop =]

It has a hint of sourness from the raspberry and the inner creme between the wafer also tasted like rich cream cheese. They go so well with the milk chocolate outside, such a dreamy and delicious ensemble!

This is my favourite flavour by far

I need more~~

Did I create any cravings? ;D

Oh my god! It looks so good!
If one day I go to Japan, this is one thing I'll do: to buy and eat A LOT of Kit Kats.

They all sound so yummy! My brother got two boxes of the green tea and wasabi flavored Kit Kats from his friend and I tried them out yesterday. The green tea was delicious and even the wasabi wasn't bad although I wasn't sure about them at first. :P

The framboise ones sound divine! ♥_♥

*slobbers*
I want this now....who cares that it's 9:40 AM?!
I've also had the Sakura Matcha and I also thought it tasted weird xD it tasted just like....white chocolate or something to me. No matcha flavour, no sakura flavour...not that I know what Sakura tastes like either! I guess it should taste flowery....and pink....
I love the regular matcha ones!

Aw cute post! I love Kit Kats but Asia has all the cool and unique flavors. The packaging is so darling on all them as well, yay thanks for sharing. :)

Wooo! Torn between being happy for you and being jealous. I'm going with happy! =)

I'd like to try all of those, but especially the Framboise. I've tried a version of the semi-sweet--that and white chocolate are the only different options we have in the US (along witht he standard milk chocolate).

Aaaghh I keep seeing these Kit Kats everywhere and I still haven't tried them yet. >.<;; One day..I shall try them out. +_+

Mmm they look yummy! The packaging looks so pretty...unlike the original flavors that I can get here. I haven't even seen these at like the asian supermarkets where they have a lot of asian candies >__<

What great marketing LOL Who would cheer up after getting these during a stressful exam period! xD

OOOh you're so lucky to get to taste so many different flavor kit kats!!! I didn't know they had so many different flavors of kit kats in japan, or that they were so popular! Sadly, different flavor traditional candies and chips don't take off in North America so we're always stuck with the same old, same old :( Awww sucks that the matcha green tea one didn't meet your standards, I thought for sure it'd be the best tasting one--I like matcha flavors myself too^^

Btw, you're so right abt which palette I got--I haven't used it since I first got it so I can't even recall which lineup it's from XD Hmmm maybe I should give them a try, mine was just so darn sparkly!
I love Made in Japan cosmetics too! What new eyelash glue are you eyeing from them? If you ever get the inkling to try the Ardell one do let me know^^

OMG yummmmm! Thanks for sharing the flavors and pictures! The Milk Coffee actually sounds delicious!

Reading your Kit Kat posts make me want to run out to raid my local Asian grocery store. XD Unfortunately they only seem to have Framboise (not for lack of checking), which I sadly didn't like. D: Sakura Macha sounds fascinating. :P

Blair! OMG!!! I so happy to read you on my blog!!! That would be a honor to be on your blog list hehe!!
You know, this blog is really young!! It's like 5 days old^^
I was on an french beauty-forum speaking about Asian skincare and there are a lot of girls who like Asian products as well. So one of them had the great idea to create a blog about it.
We'll be several to post our reviews on it, about our addictions haha!
And the Cosmetex Roland body lotion is awesome. I try to use it everyday (when I don't forget it^^). It's indeed cooling and great to use after a shower in the evening. It's a bit long to absorb if you put it too much on your skin.
It's really cheap and the tube is HUGE!
And the best of all: it's GREEN!
Also, I'm posting under the name of Sasha on the blog hehe ;)

You always make me hungry with these posts!

Anais said...

Yes, differents authors. We have a discussion on the forum and everyone who's got a review to post can do it here.
You still have breakouts with the green tea cleanser? Too bad :(
Have you ever tried the AHA/BHA cleanser by Hadalabo? This is my holy grail. No more breakouts with it. Only one pimple from time to time. It the best cleanser I've ever used. Really!
No, Sasha is not my middle name. It's just a name I REALLY like. So I often use it on forum or some blogs too.

I have a twitter, but it's empty, I only use it to follow people lol (I follow you btw!)
I'm under the name of "AnaFlash", lol.
