Name: Cellnique Paramedical Skin Action Sebum Gel
Price: RM 159 for 30 ml
Description: Phyto bio-engineering formulation gel for all skin types to reduce both blackheads and whiteheads on affected skin area without painful extraction. This daily maintenance gel also reduces oil secretion, leaving the skin clear and producing smooth visible results within 10 days of application.
Packaging: White opaque plastic bottle with a pump dispenser. I prefer plastic over glass, klutzy me is always knocking over glass bottles.
Scent: Light minty scent.
Texture: This clear gel glides on smoothly. It feels a tad minty and cooling, very refreshing especially in this hot weather.

It absorbs really quickly. Although it has mattifying properties, I didn’t experience any tightness when using it.
I was quite worried because I experienced an increase in visible whiteheads whilst using this gel. Selina, the Cellnique PR, allayed my fears when she mentioned that it’s a healing process and this only happens to very dehydrated skin. I’ve reduced my usage as per recommended by Selina but my nose still looks congested after using it for 5 weeks.
I always thought that I have more whiteheads comparatively. This before and after picture shows that I have plenty of both white and blackheads *ewww*
I also think it helps in reducing breakouts as I experience fewer eruptions after introducing this gel to my skin care routine. One bottle can last a while since I only use it sparingly, about 1 pump for my entire face concentrating on my T-zone.
I have since stopped using this gel, I don't like having so much visible comedones! I have yet to read a negative review on this product though, so I might be the only person in the world that isn't wowed by it haha~ Plenty of other girls experienced good results from this best selling gel, so do be sure to check their reviews out as well ^^

Selina kindly tucked in a few samples in my package – Vital Repair Cleansing Milk, Total DayTime Protection 30 and Vital Cellular Repair Masque. I’m also inserting a short review on Vital Cellular Repair Masque in this entry.

The jar that I have is a sample:

Packaging: This is the first time that I’ve seen a sealed sample! Plus the label is printed onto the lid itself instead of a stick-on-label like many other brands. Imo, this is very impressive and worth mentioning!

Scent: It smells delicious, just like bananas~
Texture: Cream texture.

I applied a thick layer (finished the whole sample jar) on my face and washed it off after leaving it on for 20 minutes.
Ingredients: It’s perfect for pampering sessions as it’s full of nutrients like Papaya Extract, Sodium Hyaluronate, Yeast Beta Glucan, Vitamin E and Marine Collagen.
Purified Water (Aqua), Cyclomethicone, Sodium PCA, Butylene Glycol, Glyceryl Stearate, PEG-100 Stearate, Stearyl Alcohol, Cetyl Palmitate, Hydrogenated Polyisobutene, Hydrogen Peroxide, Aloe Vera (Aloe Barbadensis), Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E), Ascorbyl Tetraisopalmitate (Vitamin C), Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C), Lactic Acid, Disodium EDTA, Dimethicone, Sodium Hyaluronate, Hydrocotyl Asiatica (Centella Asiatica) Extract, Butchers Broom (Ruscus Aculeatus) Extract, Phenoxyethanol, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Tropical Fragrance.
My skin felt super smooth, supple and firm after my masking session ♥ It's a bit steep for a mask though, but the results are worth it!
Special thanks to Cellnique for hosting this mini giveaway. Do share your experience with me when you’ve tried your sample!

thanks for this one doll<3
i've emailed them for a sample :)
The face mask looks interesting! I need something like this... hehe~
I was about the email Cellnique..and then I read "smells like bananas".
T___________T I hate bananas so much it's not funny. I can't even eat banana flavour sweets because they make me feel sick. And sometimes other overripe fruits get me too, because the ethylene smell is super strong - like banana!
Thanks for the review anyway though! XD I will know this product I should stay a mile away from.
OHHHHHHHHHH!!! Sorry, all logic went out the window when I read the word banana. =P I actually said "OH NOOO" when I read that part. My boyfriend wondered what I was doing LOL!
Awesome review! I really want to try this line out now! :)
Can't believe this gave you more whiteheads, it did the total opposite. The repair masque looks like a great product! Thanks for sharing!
Oooohhhhhhh Thank you to share this with us Blair!^^
I just send an email to them. I hope I'll get some samples, it's been a while I wanted to try this brand :)
That's cool! I just entered. Thanks for doing this ^^
I've used the Skin Action Sebum Gel on ripened whiteheads (my fingers were itching to pop it but I resisted the urge) and they did go away in about 2-3 days much to my surprise. The gel also did make the blackheads nestled in my pores on my nose pop out. So after one of those blackhead mask thingies my nose looked much clearer. This was after about 1 month of continuous usage. Overall not bad a product I would say.
nice!! im still yet to try the serum that you mentioned a while ago...trying to finish my skincare stocks first lolz! I'll try my luck n email for the sample ;)
I'm traveling otherwise I join in on the giveaway, but thanks for sharing the review!
Nice reviews! Sounds so nice! I wish I could try that mask. That green color tempts me a lot hahaha~
Great review! Too bad it doesn't reduce your blackheads and whiteheads. But the masque sounds great :)
I have tried out the Cellnique Sebum gel a few years and I really liked it! It made my skin softer and the blackheads/whiteheads easier to push out (gross, I know).
But I hated that I can't get it readily in Australia...I always had to get whenever I went back to Malaysia.
And I couldn't stand how exxy it was for a small bottle!
i am loving cellnique as well at the moment :D althought i'm using the b.liv line right now :) very good brand indeed! :)
i gotta get myself some of the serum gel. i love anything minty! :)
